Reels creation

My Creative Deep Work Routine
My main art: Creating reels
My main projects:- Filip the gentleman- Menshots- Portfolio of at least 2 new clients
1) preparation phase
- 5-10 min
- set a specific goal for the session
- gather all the materials needed - inspiration, footage, laptop, charger, SD card, camera
- triggers for the deep work - drink full glass water, 60 sec clean-up of a desk
At the end of the day, what would I wish I accomplished during this session?(edit a footage, write a script for a video, filming)
2) work
10 % for preparation
80 % for doing the work
10 % for reflection
The work should be 60/90/120 min long
- have the goal of the session on sight
- write it down on a paper
- zero tolerance for distractions
- capture thought on notes
- take a short brake - breathing exercises, short walk - but always keep thinking about the project
- use a skill-based approach - create a reel every day / whatever - every day work on what you want to complete
- push to the end of the work session, promise that you will finish it
- Never do research in the deep work time
3) Reflection
- answering questions
How far did I get during this session?
What went well?
What can I do better the next time?
What is the biggest problem I can solve during the next session?
Write the reflections to a daily log.
Trust the process! Action is the goal
What is my motivation?
- being a recognized freelancer with limited working time
What might stop me?
- not prioritizating deep work sessions in my daily schedule
What will I do to remind myself of working on my project?
- print out the commitment
- put the time-slots into my calendar
- share my goal with my closest people
