Nice. I like the cat. For the plants, you can make them more interesting by playing with the contrast. E.g. have light over dark, and dark over light. E.g. For the plants on the left, you have yellow over the darker green, but the darker green is just darker green. So you have add more variation to the darker green before adding the yellow.
