I ended up using Procreate because one of the tools in Paper app wasn't available in the free version. It was very hard to choose the right brushes that would have some texture yet create the right overlay effect. I had a lot of fun.

I really liked the idea of combining lines and shapes.

 

2. Random Background and Foreground

Drawing without seeing what you're actually doing is a really cool idea. It helps a lot with overthinking and makes drawing even more fun because the end result is a complete surprise.

 

3. The other hand

Surprisingly it wasn't that hard to draw with my left hand. Maybe because I had to draw in an abstract way so the more random the shapes and lines the better.
