Yes. The children used the 'old' paper to do an example of calligraphy with a Goose quill.

I used to work in a museum and we used soaked tea leaves to make the paper look old for the children to work on.

It just thought about a digital trick, one can make an aged paper, and take photo of that, then in Adobe photoshop or other software, add it as a layer over the illustration layer and then set the properties of the Layer to "Multiply", that digital trick would make it seem the paper was itself aged.

Yes I know. But that's not what I intend for that. It's a demonstration of what you can do with Natural Botanical inks. And it is destined to go in my Botanical Journal where I am hoping to use almost entirely natural things. Using a computer would be pretty far from that entire vibe.

yes I got what you mean. That pure natural feeling. Also in traditional musical instruments we try to use natural and traditional materials rather than chemicals for example Eremurus instead of chemical glue.

Have you a source for that? I've not found one. And anyway I've seen that removal of the natural colour in Serish/Eremurus has been investigated since otherwise it can leave yellow or brownish stains on paper.
I'm more interested in paper than musical instruments.

nice. No, sorry currently I don't have any further info. 
In Iranian musical instruments like Taar and Setaar, the connection of woods, skin and bone pieces are done by serish.

Thank you very much, among the 3 techniques I like splashing more, it can also be used on wedding cards by splashing golden color.

Project of ageing simple factory made papers I used a simple sinking technique on one paper.  Then I tried 2 different ways of adding stains to other papers.
