Here are some examples of the W.I.N method I am planning to use in the near future.

Full version: When you berate me for my weight it makes me feel worthless and ugly. I would really appreciate it if you stopped commenting on my appearance altogether. 

 

Shortened version: I would really like it if you did not comment on my appearance anymore. 

 

> My Friend < 

Full version:  When you do not respond to any of my messages it makes me feel scared and unliked. I'd really appreciate it if you let me know when you are not feeling like speaking to me - I WILL understand. I would just like to know when you're not in the mood to talk because oherwise my mind goes crazy. 

 

Shortened version: I would really appreciate it if you please let me know when you do not feel like talking. 

 

> My mom < 

Full version: When you walk into my room without knocking or any prior announcement it makes me feel like I have no privacy. I would like it if you knocked before entering my room.

 

Shortened version: I would really appreciate it if you knocked on my door before entering my room,
