Social Media Post: Live Streaming Non-Gaming Content

Scroll down to get to the updated post. Thanks!

Hello! I've been dabbling in Affinity since 2021 and I wanted to improve my workflow around Publisher. I found lots of helpful tips (like using column guides instead of manually entering horizontal and vertical guides) and here's the culmination of some of what I've learned in the course.

I mostly used stock in-app images to fill up the spaces. The red button on top of "Live" adds interest and context to the content of the post. I've only used one font in this series of social media posts.

In these pictures, I heavily used the rule of thirds to guide the composition. I'm still a beginner at this and rule of thirds is what I'm familiar with, having a small photography background as a hobby. The tip on using layer blends to edit a photo is amazing and faster than using layer adjustments! For the color scheme, I used Twitch's brand guidelines and added those in a document palette. Most of the purple are just confined to the posts above.

Changes: (1) Red dot layer effect changed from bevel to 3D to give it more depth, and (2) added red borders - a theme I notice often in "recording" and "live stream symbols" to add a bit of red into the content posts.
