I've been wanting to set up a homepage (with integrated studio log) forever. I even bought some webspace with Bluehost... and then feel into a deep dark hole (I didn't touch a pencil/brush for almost a year) that I'm only now starting to claw myself out of. I'm kind of using all the new year's challenges and new class announcements to get working on some projects in a minimal way. Your classes on homepage and blog creation, especially the guides, are a total life saver. I'm basically using this as a ladder (or whatever tools *thingy* you use when rock climbing) to get where I want to.

My plan for my homepage is pretty simple. I'll call it my name (although I've been waffling on that, because that's just me), although I haven't gotten around to buying a domain name (yes, I've got webspace, but no address). Because... yeah, well. So no link yet.

I'll be using WordPress, but have not yet found a good theme. (Suggestions welcome!) I know I'd like it to be pretty...

I want to set myself up as an independent artist and illustrator. Not sure yet what I'll put in my portfolio - maybe I'll create some pieces for that. I'll definitely want a studio log where I write about my art related activities. (I guess what I'd also post on Instagram, except I've mostly stopped using it.) That's it for now for pages... I think I'll make it up as I go.
