I used cardstock for these, which worked well despite it being fairly heavy. I can’t say the same for the 2nd ornament style. I finally had some luck with a linen texture scrapbook paper, which while still thick, reacted much better when folded.

I plan on trying many more shapes, sizes, papers, & spray paint!
