I like the idea of using symbols to create art about hard things. This image might seem simple but I created it with a hard personal event in mind.

A recent major surgery where time felt..confusing. The needle represents the stitches and the thread is in the shape of my large intestine. The colors also felt reminiscent of the internal body. A bit personal/vulnerable but hey, glad to still be here. ;)
