Negative Painting

There's a big difference between watching a course and actually working through it. Quite a long time ago I just watched this course and didn't think that much of it. The production was rather basic compared to other things I had been seeing, but when I came back and gave it another try and worked my way through it I really appreciated the experience. The exercise itself was great, and since doing the trees, I did a follow up with my other bottle of black ink on these non-seasonal jack o' lanterns. I really valued observing the use of a syringe for measuring out ink for the washes, and the varnished wood for the paper to be adhered to, and the clever use of the egg container for the washes. Thank you very much for the benefit of your experience! I really enjoyed doing your project!
