Wow Catrin! What a beautiful piece. I am as proud as you are probably each time I see these projects...haha... Fantastic! It is normal to get a bit lost until you are more comfortable with the whole process. Practice makes this better over time. One suggestion would be to make the shape under the car darker like I did on mine and remove the stroke I think I can see there. It will give the whole thing a more realistic look still. Congrats again!

Thanks, Isabel, I will do that! It really was worth persisting and hanging on in there with the level of detail you recommended. Also can you explain ‘copy attributes’ to me when you have a moment? I’m guessing it’s like ‘paste special’ but can’t find it in the affinity help. Thanks again - wonderful class.

Hi Catrin, sure! Copy attributes works when you want to copy the properties of an existing object, in such a way that the easiest way to do this is to copy the object, then 'Paste Style' on the new object using CTRL/CMD+SHIFT+V - i.e. - Imagine you have a circle, or any other shape and you apply a bevel to it, a red colour with noise or some other styles and you then create a new object, say a rectangle and need it to have the same style. That's when this command comes into play. It will automatically copy all those attributes into your new object. So it will now be a rectangle (this is not changed)but it will have a red colour with noise or whatever you applied to your original shape. Hope this helped :)
