7 days

I did it! I used my art supplies for 7 days! However, some days I spent way more than 5 minutes, so I don’t wish to show those paintings…but the ones below were done in about 5 minutes.

Size: I have wild raspberries growing in my garden, and some are super tiny, while others look like normal raspberries.

Gift: A friend recently gifted me an easel

Fascinating: Water. I find water to be really fascinating in so many ways. It is vital to us, and we can experience it as a liquid, frozen ice and as steam. And sometimes it just falls down from the sky! Amazing stuff.

Anyway, by the last prompt I had forgotten about the challenge being about preserving memories from today, and ended up painting my dream travel destination instead. Whoops! I hope Elise will forgive me… She seems friendly, so surely she will….right!?

The supplies I used for this challenge were watercolours and a sketchbook of khadi paper. I figured using a paper that didn’t allow for painting much details was a good idea in order to keep it loose and let go of perfectionism. It worked just like I intended in that respect.

Thanks for the class, Elise!
