Botanical Illustration - Create and Compose a Free-Flowing  Design in Pen, Ink and Watercolour

These are absolutely gorgeous P.J. I think all of them have a lovely sensitivity of line and colour. I liked the way you incorporated different colours in subtle blends in your watercolour washes. I disagree with what you said regarding depth. I think the way you’ve pushed the bright reds and burgundies in your botanicals bring a depth and contrast to your studies. Regarding your line work, I love the way you in areas you explored broken lines to create variance. Your illustrations are really charming and thank you for sharing them with me!

Enjoyed this class. Most images painted in 9cm x 14cm notebook. I think the pen work helps with definition (as I am not very good with colour depth/lights and darks)
