Watercolor Seascape
This is a painting from my recent trip to Calvert Cliffs State Park in southern Maryland, by the Chesapeake Bay. I didn't get to paint on location despite having all my supplies with me because it was just too crowded with fossil hunters. So, I snapped a photo and painted this back at the hotel. The techniques in this class were really helpful! I would love to get more practice painting on location when the conditions are right.
I'm using an Etchr Perfect Sketchbook A5 size, Windsor and Newton pro watercolors, and Utrecht travel brushes. I didn't bother with the masking tape because I wanted to save time. I find the jagged edges don't really bother me that much.
