Full disclosure  - my tree branches are terrible. I still decided to post them just to show what happens when you think something is so simple AND you don't practice. I used purple as my black paint just would not spread even thinned with water  and maybe need to try a variety of brushes for thinner lines (cheap paints). I will try the silhouettes again eventually. My fir tree  is okay ( I think!)
