What a wonderful class! It is super informative, but I especially learned a lot from the lesson on drawing basic bird shapes. That’s the best explanation I’ve heard/seen so far.  Here is my bird. I used Winsor and Newton Professional watercolors on Arteza paper. I am still working to perfect my color choices and color mixing. My actual mixing results don’t always align with what I picture in my mind…for example the pinkish-purple color…but I’ll keep working at it. I tried a combination of wet-on-dry and wet-on-wet. I also used a Signo white gel pen for added accents.
