7 Prompts For Abstract Painting

Gosh, I love your classes Michelle! I watched the class on a Thursday and could not wait for the weekend to dig right in!

I grabbed an old sketchbook for all of the projects. I filled three-quarters of this one years ago with awful half-finished sketches so I figured I'd fill it up with beautiful abstracts and be done with it. I also tried to focus on using tubes of paint that I don't often use in my day-to-day art practice to push myself and also to use them up!

I'm not really a line person, so this one was a bit of a struggle. I do love those messy lines in the top corner on the second painting, and the pops of green-gold throughout.

Not sure how I feel about these guys, but they were very fun to paint!

Squares

This one is one of my favourites now, especially the second page. I struggled with it for a while, but I like how intricate it is and yet simple at the same time!

This was very fun, and I like how dreamlike the result is.

Anything But a Brush

And I don't have any texture mediums or whatnot so I skipped that one.

Thank you for such a lovely class, Michelle!
