Watercolor Your Year

I have just finished my calendar for 2022! I printed them myself and have packaged them into sets and am ready to gift wrap them for Christmas gifts this year.

Thank you @Anne Butera for a very well-thought-out class and detailed process for success in making a beautiful calendar. It was fun to go back through the year and pick out some paintings to feature. You may recognize some of my "first" paintings from your classes.  I didn't really have anything to go exactly by season, so it is just flowers...just because. Next year, I will work toward being theme-oriented for the season.

Here are the 12 months of flowers.

My husband liked the calendar and mentioned that it could note what the paintings were of. What an excellent suggestion! I added a mini page of all the images and noted what they were and it also serves to show what images are in the calendar.  Now, he says the calendar looks like it came out of a magazine. That just made my day! I wrapped the calendar set in several layers of white tissue paper, so you could not see through the paper to the first image. I then wrapped the calendar with a band that has the name of the calendar as well as the artist-me! I'm so proud.

I loved the idea of putting the artwork on an easel, so I followed your lead and found some. I thought they were a nice addition when I got them but was amazed at how pleasing it is to see the entire calendar on the easel for display.
