definitely takes practice to remember the steps without class guidance.

the text cut out

the glow class was difficult for me, i did not have the fonts you did.   

 

this was my first attempt. i didnt fill the word in

this is making the background darker

 

this is without the green part  the separating rectangle

this is with a glowing object

 

the liquid class was difficult for me too. again lack of font.

i had to put my opacity to 37% and this picture is before the shadows and light gradient -  idk what i was doing wrong .

 

i didnt know how to make mine look like yours, so this is after merging all the layers together
