Act Two
Crisis: After just being attacked and losing her mother Cordelia begins to break down in tears.
- Cordelia demands to be taken back home
- They begin to adjust to new life in the school
- Cordelia appears to have lost a part of herself as she becomes more reserved
Struggle: A strange man appears introducing himself as someone who works closely with the principal.
- Cordelia is separated from her friends in different dorms
- Cordelia lives in an abandoned ruins
- Alina and Raven try their hardest to remove any slander before Cordelia sees it
- The whole school including staff treat Cordelia like a freak for what she truly is
- Cordelia meets new friends including a girl with a tiny Triceratops that was accidentally brought to life and a boy surrounded by mystery
- The boy may well be “The Lost King”
- The mean girl breaks into Cordelia’s dorm and blocks off the ocean water which slowly kills Cordelia
- The boy, Cole who has a slight anger problem begins to threaten the mean girl
- Cole begins to lose control of his flames and almost kills the mean girl
- Cordelia uses unknown magic to calm him down but also infuse her water magic with his fire turning his hair both red and blue
- The boy begins to look like the lost king in the story books in the library
- A man bursts into the school claiming to be a benefactor and someone who works closely with the principal
- The local bully who deems herself better than everyone, Sora seems to especially hate Cordelia and her friends
- Sora reports everything she finds to the principal
- The principal is an active member of the “3 Crows”
- Cordelia knocks a snow globe in the library but as she grabs it to prevent it breaking she hears a lot of screaming
- Raven uses her shadow powers to sneak into the principal's office and discovers who the mysterious benefactor is
- The friends get sent into the snow globe and discover the mermaids aren’t dead
- It is revealed that the mysterious benefactor of the school was in fact the leader of the “3 Crows”
- The school nurse explains her real purpose at the school and explains what truly happened
- Cordelia finds out he mother is still alive but not as she knows her or ever did
- Cordelia takes time to process everything she learned and how everything has been since being forced to be at the school
- The benefactor is revealed to be Cordelia’s father
- Cordelia decides that she can’t keep crying over what happened and remembers how she used to be
- Alina and Raven tell Cordelia they will stay until the end
- The boy rumoured to be the lost king admits his feelings for Cordelia and vows to stand by her side
- The triceratops comes running with a crown in its mouth that they had been looking for
- The boy is revealed to be the true king.
Epiphany: Cordelia realises she’s been a coward the whole time and too afraid to do anything because she felt like she would lose even more.
- Cordelia reflects on her journey
- Cordelia realises how low she’s been and how she needs to regain the confidence she once lost
- Alina reminds Cordelia that she’s not alone and never was
- Cordelia regains her lost confidence and is resolved to do what must be done
