Here are my attempts at printing using lino.

 

Attempt: 1  The face

I used quite a hard piece of Lino. I found it a bit difficult to carve. This will still work well fo my art journal. 

 

Attempt 2: The butterfly

This time I went for a soft piece of lino. I put a very small hole in it. 

 

Hmm I am very handed the difficulty is finding a way to carve without putting a hole init. I found it very difficult to carve out the background so I get a clean print. 

1. I will carve at a slower pace

2. simpler designs next time round.

 

Thanks for this very informative class with lots of hints and tips. All that is left now for me is practice, practice.
