The class inspired me to commit to a 30 day challenge and paint an acrylic landscape every day. I'll keep updating this project as I go.

Below are my first two paintings. Both are inspired by a road trip we did over spring break here in Colorado: The painting on the left pictures the frozen Vallecito Reservoir, high up in the mountains near Durango.

The one in the right pictures a scene at Great Sand Dunes National Park, where a giant sand dune field is nestled between the mountains.
