Hi, 

Thanks for the course, I learnt a lot and I have been busy trying to implement things over the past few days. 

This website is about 2 months old and functions mostly as a portfolio website and I use the blog mostly to write about books I read. It's a bit of a mixed bag in terms of content which is maybe not ideal, but definitely how it has to be as otherwise I would get bored. The ultimate aim is to have enough traffic on the website to make selling our art online a feasible proposition. 

So far I have no content page or blog post over 2k words, so this blog post is the first one with over 2k words. I don't think it's realistic to have every blog post over 2k words - I mean I don't want to read a book review of over 2,000 words. 

I have plans to revisit some older content and make those blog posts longer, because I feel I can say more on the topic and plan for the future to have longer blog posts at least a few times a month. 

 

So far I have about 20 visitors a day, I am curious to see what happens with this one. 

 

As for the backlinks I could not figure out how to work most of the suggested ones, only manaed 2 out of the 10. And I am not brazen enough to ask others to let me guest post, so I will have to think on how I can get more.
