Unexpected understanding

I love Chris’ classes- they are deep and challenging.

Once Chris called me an artist, charging me with the responsibility  to continue my coincidental visit to the artists’ world.

So this is how I got an invitation to her space, where real artists search for professional wisdom and she offers her life-long experience as shared knowledge -teacher and mentor, wholeheartedly.

Nobody asked me for prerequisite, like some learned techniques or accomplished practice- she and her student CarolS just gave me wings and encouragement and followed  my progress ( if such!) with good word, smile and friendliness.

and this is what happens to imposters....when I started the classes about Shape and Value, I got lost. Like starting Fluent French without learning the french alphabet in advance....

it took time for me to put things in perspective-

you start with learning to see the world around you, you practice your hand to follow your eye, practice, and practice...

....but when your heart comes to the picture and you need to release its desire to share - you need more than technique-

you need a strategy- planing, knowing the "secrets of the trade"......what we do to be able to influence, or maybe just channel the cosmic beauty through  our art....

and the spiral closes its loop on a higher level, with you learning to see the world differently, staging all the components as an idea, in your head.

and  you practice different technique, where January First is just a regular day and not a convention of some beginning, where sky can be red and grass stays invisible, as long as they fulfill their purpose and work for the Flow.

how great is this skill!!! amazing!!!

As usually- thousands thanks to you, my teacher!!

-here are some arrangements, following mostly my desire to put the tree delicately in the sweet spot instead of being true to original photo....my personal aesthetic at this stage of my "seeing" has chosen one of them better.

-the play with black/white paper instead of newspaper didn’t bring me joy- too much texture for my still untrained eye

-this game will continue for me, it is so valuable! Also how beautiful is the session where you share the story of your father and your family playing together! How warm!Unexpected understanding - image 1 - student projectUnexpected understanding - image 2 - student projectUnexpected understanding - image 3 - student project
