OMG SHOES :)

I really enjoyed this project - never knew drawing shoes would be so much fun! Fashion items are such ideal subjects for this practice.

I did not have all the shades used in the lessons but I managed well enough. It was also incentive to go out and get more markers! I needed more lighter and desaturated shades. This one, I improvised with a moss green for the shading inside the shoe. looks kinda moldy :)

I used the printout templates provided. Printer paper is not the best for markers, but I did not want to waste my good paper for practice. I used a sheet of tracing paper underneath to prevent the bleed through getting on anything. I found this to be a valuable pro tip.

I completed the class over a period of a couple weeks, and failed to keep track of what I used for each lesson, so apologies for missing info .OMG SHOES :) - image 1 - student project

Blue is my favorite color and what I currently own the most of! I liked doing this one. I imagined blue suede shoes. It got oversaturated a bit.

What a dork of me to not lay out the markers so the names could be seen!

More blues. I believe I used copic B02, B12 and B24 . And a white sakura jelly roll pen for the buckle.

the wood finish was soo easy! I did not have any warm tone grays, unfortunately for this one. But I am going out tomorrow to get them! I used N1, N3 and then blended in some E30. did not quite do the trick but I like the way the rest of this one came out- perhaps the wooden part needs a bit more shading.

Thank you again for producing these classes. I my copic skills have improved so much in such a short time and I get more and more confident with each lesson. Moving onto the next ones!!
