These are from a few weeks ago, when I discovered collage and went wild (until I ran out of glue). Finding these in my sketchbooks after I‘ve forgotten about them brings me joy (I like to put some in the middle and at the end of a sketchbook).

Staining to break in a page is a new technique for me + and I‘ll definitely try it some more once I get a multimedia sketchbook again. With this project sketchbook (which my brother really loves), I have discovered that it doesn’t serve me that well because I don’t work in pencil all the time. 

i really like the Art Creation sketchbooks by Talens and the little watercolor sketchbooks by Arteza, but I‘ll definitely keep exploring!
