Shoes and Bracelet

I loved doing this..and it was so much easier than I imagined it would be! I chose B06 - Peacock Blue - for the shoes. I did not have all the colors used in the lesson, except E31, so I improvised along with E0000 - Pearl White (4 zeros) for the inside of the shoes.  For paper, I used my Canson mixed media book. it's not the best for markers as it does bleed but not right away.  Normally, I use smooth bristol paper for my marker and ink projects but I try not to waste it on practice/learning projects. Along with the  mixed media paper I used a sheet of tracing paper beneath so it would not bleed into the next page - pro tip!

I also enjoyed doing the markings with with the colorless blender. I was already discovering this trick on my own and was excited to find it being taught here. It has become my favorite Copic marker trick.

For the bracelet, I used the Peacock Blue again -it's one of my faves. I loved doing this one too although I probably should have refilled the blender ink before I proceeded. Excuse the glimpses of my scratch papers and notes  :)
