Shelley I have a problem with the pattern tool and that is when I create a swatch and export the pattern to - for example - jpg or tiff - the fabric suppliers claim it is not repeating properly for example on fat quarters and such widths etc. Am tearing my hair out trying to find out why?

Hello Alison.  Are they requiring a specific dimension? This may be the case and when trying to fit the size, a Jpeg won’t fill it properly. I do not have experience submitting JPEGs for print and fabric. I usually have to send the layered Illustrator file

Thanks Shelley, I have been trying various methods - but maybe I should just go back to basics and make simpler patterns without the pattern tool!
