Part 3 flower mandala
I am trying to respect every level and don't rush.
I feel it is too early for me to fly alone - the world of art and color is still like an adventure park for me, I go in and later -out, I still don't feel like I belong.
The watercolor alphabet slowly reveals different facets- washes, value- every Chris' class is a new page with unknown before text.
I hope I will visit this Project later again and add some new photos showing good understanding and some creativity.
Although my washes are better than before I still have to practice the basic skills of brush control and paint saturation (at least I practiced glazing technique where my pigments were not at their best).
After seeing the breathtaking mandalas of one of Chris' students- Carol S, I understand 2 very important things for me-
- I will never reach the level of Carol's creativity, but I could work to reach my best level
- I am so lucky to have Chris as a Teacher and Carol as an example how high one can fly when properly instructed.
Thousand thanks to Chris and also to Carol.
