I loved this class. I personally love drawing hair so this was amazing, I learned a lot. Thank you! So here is my project:

1. Let me introduce you to Gloria: 

2. Here is my character and the 4 styles that I tried on her. I wanted something fancy because she loves to experiment with her hair. 

I couldn’t decide with this, so I had to color. 

At the beginning of the project I was thinking a messy bun, cause she is a photographer and probably the hair will mess with that. So she will always wear it like that, when I drew the sketches I wanted the assimetrical bob, but in the end decided for the short hair with bangs, she still has the messy bun to keep the hair Out of the way and since she considers herself shy I thought the bangs were a nice touch. But I don’t think she is shy actually, she just thinks that. 

4. Now to color:

I really liked the roots in brown, because she travels a lot for work and sometimes she doesn’t have time for a retouch, you know you can be in the salon for hours for this, but she still pulls it off. Don’t you think?

 

5. Adding light

 

I enjoyed this part so much, recently I started to use light in my drawings and I think it adds a whole new dimension to them. I love it.
