For a number of years, I have been avoiding playing with "curves", as I never fully understood how this tool works. After watching "Demystifying the Histogram", I started getting it. So, I gave it a go. 

 

The result is simply amazing. I got rid of the fog, improved the contrast and brought back some colours!
