The Ohia Lehua flower is known as the first plant to begin growing on barren lava flows after a volcano has erupted. Five species are endemic to the Hawaiian Islands and the red lehua flower is the official flower of Hawaii Island. This fun fact + a little AE stop motion action = making viewers smile! This was a fun and challenging project but worth all the time spent.

Thanks for your comment and I agree, some swimming fish variation would make it even better. Here's the update with the following changes. 

• School of fish with varying sizes and placement

• Added some "rogue swimming fish" to the mix
