Milestone 1: In Lifestyle Photography: Capturing Inspiring Visual Stories, a Skillshare Original with photographer Marte Marie Forsberg, you’ll learn an inspired approach to shooting everyday moments with artistry. This short, 20-minute class is all about the narrative of small moments. Shot at her thatched English cottage, Marte’s class offers practical tips for following your instincts, using the tools and light you have to lovely effect, and seeing beauty everywhere. Share three photographs that tell your own visual story in the project gallery by November 5th.
Milestone 2: Next up, join lifestyle photographer Sean Dalton in Smartphone Photography for Instagram Success: Capturing Stunning Lifestyle Photos with Your Phone. Sean walks you through an outdoor model shoot, focusing on location, light, pose, and shot angles to capture the right moody vibe. Note that you can also use a DSLR camera for this class but you may want to use software rather than phone apps for editing. Share your 3 favorite shots in the project gallery by November 14th.
Milestone 3: Last up, in Nature Photography: Recharge and Enjoy the Outdoors with Tabitha Park, you’ll venture outdoors and find inspiration from natural light, living things, and landscapes. Take a quiet moment in nature to remember why you fell in love with photography in the first place. Look around, breathe, and take some pictures that bring you joy. Share them in the project gallery by November 25th.
