oldie but goodie... - student project

Hi Kristina!

Hope you are doing great :D

For this project I decided not to draw what is inside my bag (its mostly receipts and paper I need to put on the trash lol) and toys of my daughter - double lol. Instead I decided to create a portrait of some of the things that were a hit in the 90s and unfortunatelly became obsolete today :) I do miss them lol

I usually dont work flat so that was a big challenge for me. I followed your steps drawing with pencil in paper, then I used Pigma Graphic 1 to create the black lines. Then I scanned (Epson V600 that I just bought yesterday, first time I test and the quality is huuuugeeee :D) I almost didnt had to clean anything as the scan have a preset to clean spots (really time saving).

This is the final illustration (flat and without texture - I used on the background thou to give a vintage look to the piece):

The scan results - didnt needed to clean at all:

And those are the sketches before I use the Pigma (I forgot to make a photo right after I finished lol)

Guess that is all :D I loved the class and definetely will be using what I learned on your class in my future projects.

xoxo,
