Hi, Everyone! I was really excited to make this print for my son's 2nd birthday - he loves, LOVES hedgehogs, stars, and moons, so I really let his interests guide my decisions for this print. 

 

 

Since I envisioned using this print on a blanket - I thought of my coordinate print as the back and boarder of the blanket - I pulled out the little cheek scribble in the original hedgehog and decided to use that as the basis for my print. 

first I sketched a whole page of them. Then I colorized it and made it into the print. 

In the end, I had lots of little illustrated elements I did not use - so I colorized one little fox friend and am hoping to use him for something in the future!
