Wow, Eved! Very nice painting! What stands out most to me are your beautiful colors! I love the color of the ridge and the trees and the bottoms of the clouds. You also did a good job with distinguishing between between Carlson's four planes according to the appropriate value for each one. You also placed your warm colors in the foreground and cool colors in the background, which creates atmospheric perspective! Overall, you did a great job!My only suggestion would be to make the line of the tree tops at the base of the ridge a bit more uneven. You could push some of the blue ridge color down into the trees in just a couple of places, and you could do the same by pushing the blue of the ridge into the big tree on the right in a place or two. If you decide to make these changes, try not to overdo it. Make the changes in a couple of places and let it go at that. Again, you did a great job on your class project!
