I draw all my sketching by eye, to work on my hand eye coordination. I think it may be better following the tracing method as it would be easier to break the character into basic shapes. I will go back to that exercise.

I created my own watercolour and ink sketch, using sennelier paints and size 6 cats tongue brush. Both are my new favourites!!

Although I'm not all that fond of fully anthropomorphised characters as a rule, I do like the gentle, watercolour, Beatrix Potter-ish style.
