Tom, study anatomy alongside studying other artist who already do this well. break other artist's work down to basic shapes and eventually with practice, you'll get there!

Beautiful, Mila!It looks like you had some skills coming into this course. Are you planning on taking other courses in the series? Your biggest area for improvement is in the figures. The only 'skills' I had before I started this course are those I've inherited from my parents, but I've never had a professional education in art, and this was my firs attempt in figure drawing after the first series of your course.
 So far I've only had drawn portraits, but I'm interested in perfecting the figure drawing.
My biggest problem when it comes to drawing is that I get impatient to see the finished work, so I get into details to quickly. And proportioning.  
I genuinely enjoy your way of teaching, everything you explain makes perfect sense and I don't have any difficulties following the steps.
 I will try to post my works regularly as the course and exercises continue, and I would appreciate your critique, whenever you have the chance. 
 And yes, I'm planing to finish all of your series.  :)
