Love those bleeds in the branch and great light on the head and beak. You'll find the red much easier on better paper - I can't paint on cheap paper, it just makes me cranky because it doesn't behave the way I want. Having said that, your woodpecker is very nice despite your paper.

This was a fun class. I wish I had used better paper though. I'll have to do a second one.
