Marie-Noelle’s class was so very fun. I don’t often paint very large, especially these sorts of washes, so I was very curious. 

 

 

I had loads of fun, meditative “in the moment” kind of fun. I decided to not do the border on my first pieces, and ended up with very dirty fingers and some marks on the sides, where I clumsily put my fingers onto the painting!

 

So in the last piece, I decided to make a border… much easier to work with the block, moving it and all.

 

Thank you Marie-Noelle for pushing me to try these large washes. It was so much fun.
