Winter Watercolor

Fun Class, although a challenge, it was a worthwhile one! There were a few times I almost gave up, but I know that never helps, so I stuck it out! I struggled with the cabins. My burnt sienna didn't seem quite like what I wanted with that burnt look, so I added some Indian Red and that seemed to help. I also had a hard time getting the dark shadows. I've never painted people in a painting so that was new, but I didn't worry about them, and they look just fine. I am getting better with my trees, but the bare one on the left had me going "ugh". I will keep on trucking with watercolor as I am finding it less intimidating each time I paint with it and especially when I need to try and correct things, which is what I call happy mistakes. May not look great in the end, but it gives me more practice.
