This is a fun technique and I enjoyed using my brush pen for minimalistic ink, but I definitely need more practice. The first one I tried on my own I decided to use fountain pen and maybe did too much detail. The 2nd I did on my own I went back to brush pen. (These were photos from other sketching classes, not my own.) These do take a long time to dry, so I'm not sure about using this in the field. I did really enjoy the results from painting along with Toby, though. This was low stress and fun to try!
