Weekly Planner for next year!

Thank you so much Chris for this wonderful class! I have been looking for a planner that suits my needs, and it is pretty hard to find, even with so many planners out there!

So here is my storyboarding: for each month I first want the month overview, then a page with my monthly goals (written on the first of the month, or right before the month begins), then the Celebrations (I go over those with my husband at the end of each month!). Then I want a 2-page overview of each week, note my weeks start on Monday and end on Sunday. European style. It bugs me when we start the week on the 7th day, lol. I also need a page with all my art projects and challenges I take part in, Skillshare classes I take, etc. I now have it on a loose sheet, but it would be nice to have it in the actual planner.

Next, my habit tracker: I have it on a A4 size loose sheet, so I will either glue it in the planner, or just stick it in it. This is what it looks like (lol you can see my dedication to yoga, as well as my bad sleeping habits):

Then I like to keep track of the mail I am waiting for (Amazon, art supplies orders etc). And to close the month, a couple pages for my gratitude journal.

So I gathered my supplies: a couple of big (A3) sheets of cotton paper that is relatively thin (150 gsm?) so I can easily fold it, but it takes water pretty well. Terrible for landscapes but great for this. I will cut them in 2 each, then fold them, making 16 pages. I also grabbed my paints including shimmer, brush, markers and pens, and ruler, pencil, scissors.

Painting the pages with abstract art: (I numbered the pages to keep them in the right following order.)

I was thinking about the beach.

Page 3 I did this thing with water drops on the page and then dropping paint in the drops.

Page 12 I used a white pastel to create horizontal lines.

Going to town. See the first pages:

Then painting the reverse:

Splashing puddles and blowing on them.

I really like page 8. See the collection:

About to bind them together!

And the final planner for January 2023! I added lines and text where necessary. Also added a gold shimmer 'thread' throughout the whole planner.

Goals and Celebrations pages:

Week 1: I added the Sunday on this one, so I wouldn't need to add a whole page with December 26-31. Though that would actually have been nice, but I didn't plan for that, and I didn't want to start painting another 4 pages for the last day of December and week 5, or something else.

Week 2: I had extra space for a 'to-do' section and a 'notes' section.

Week 3. Note I added a purple line to mark off and separate the weeks from Monday through Sunday.

Week 4:

A page for my art projects and one for my separate habit tracker:

A page to note what I am waiting for, things I order or expecting in the mail, and a page to write one (or several) things a day I am grateful for:

And the back page, can also be used for gratitude. Loving this gold shimmer, you can also see the gold splatters at the bottom of the page.

I omitted the stickers, but at the moment I do not feel the need for them!
