This is my first attempt at an intermediate watercolour painting. It was satisfying applying all the techniques I have learned as a beginer. I still find it tricky to work out the order to paint things, when to let parts dry and when wet on wet technique is required. It's hard to visualise at the beginning how it will all come together at the end. I had a lot of fun doing this though and this painting has given me the confidence to try more complex paintings.
