Watercolor fundamentals

This was a fantastic class. I felt my usual anxiety creeping in as I was going through the entire course, but I decided to pull through it.
Maybe it was because of the approach Keren has or the projects themselves, but I got into a trance at some point during the first one (in prussian blue) that made every part of the process flow. The shapes became more confident, less splotchy and I wasn't constantly "retouching" at that last half. I can actually see the difference just on that one painting! The last half is at the top of the picture below:

Then, out of nowhere, I picked up my favorite hue of burnt sienna, and in 10 minutes I had done another. I'm finally understanding how much water is needed (in my brush/paper) for what I'm attempting to see from it!

What I learned the most though is to trust in the process. I tend to discard anything that is imperfect, but these practices where so liberating to me that I can see imperfections that are just meant to be.
Thank you so very much for this class!! :)
This last one is just me trying to make use of my old "wash practices". ;)
