This was a really fun project for me! I'm afraid that in my first attempt I might have derived too much from what you demonstrated in terms of the plant shape silhouette; you just made it look so easy and fun. I then tried this technique with different colors and floral plant shapes. Photo below. 

I really liked how this encouraged me to loosen up a bit! I did have a challenge getting my brush to do really clean, inky lines, though. Despite my best efforts, the line would come out either too dry and brushy, or too wet and blobby. I guess it just takes practice.
