Thank you for the truly inspiring class. I have a painting commission from my neighbor, and I wanted to create a prototype before starting the actual project. The dog has short black fur with hints of orange, and your class was exactly what I needed. Below is the watercolor prototype on 11X15 inch cold press paper.

I went further with the painting and added details and highlights. I used ink pens, smoothed the top right background, and added more textures to the dog fur.
