For the class project, I chose to design a vintage inspired soap packaging. I started off by looking at vintage packaging and lettering. Below are some visual studies I conducted while doing my research

Brainstorming:

I decided to work on a series of 3 design — 3 different fragrances of soap namely, Peony Blush, Blue Iris, Rose Petal. They key differentiator would be colours and floral motif.

I chose to go ahead with the first iteration. The next phase was to refine the sketches and adapt it to other two fragrances.
