Very Pink

Thank you for teaching this class, Denise!  I've made stamps of objects before, but not textures. I will probably carve some more of these!

The odd narrow piece (a scrap from a larger piece) turned out to be the most useful of all. Weird, huh?

The grid is the back of the linoleum block which I stripped of its burlap. I use Blick's beige unmounted variety. It's not as easy to cut as the pink variety but it gives me crisper corners.

The positive/negative curl is something I've wanted to do and I like the result here.

The pink is my new Daler-Rowney flourescent pink; it was on clearance on Michael's so I took a chance on it. I'm very glad it was only 3 bucks because I don't like it at all.
