looking good. All you need to do is get some of those really strong tones in the windows on the white buildings in the centre, just a few marks to really push the focal point. Love the water.

did you just put that one up or did i miss it? Again great with the water and love the foreground leaves giving the sense of depth. To me the focal point in this one would be that light near the centre, but my eye is drawn firstly to the tree on the left which has a really dark tone and hard edges and then the bushes on the right again with a darker tone and defined edges. I would be inclined to use some strong darks on a few of the buildings to push the contrast with the light. But print out a copy of the painting first and test it on that rather than going onto the panting right away - it won't paint the same but it will give you a good idea of where to put the darks.
